My PowerTap (old standard model) worked for about 4 years without any
trouble.
It was a few days ago when my PowerTap gave me within a 3 hour ride at
about 2 and a half hour suddenly too many watts. Obviously the zero-
offset was way off, but when I made a new offset the numbers were
still too high.
In my last ride the first minute was okay but then things became
worse. The numbers are now all over the place (from 0 to over 3000
Watts).
Has anybody made similar experience? Is there anything broken in the
hub? Are the strain gauges dead?
